“Before I read this book, I had very high expectations about it and was looking forward to it because I have the privilege of knowing a bit about the author and I was eager to read in detail lessons that could be learnt from her life story. I wasn't disappointed at all! The book far surpassed my expectations and once I started reading it, I didn't stop till I finished. The book gives an interesting insight into early life in an African (Nigerian) polygamous home that many people would be able to relate with. It is also intriguing to understand the hardship that people face and the 'can-do' attitude plus the grace of God that enables an individual to come out of terrible experiences and make a great life for themselves. I was also humbled by the mercy and deep, true love of God for us reflected by the experiences of the author. I have kept my copy and would certainly be recommending it to both Christians and Non-Christians.. I look forward to part 2!
